On the 17 th October 2019 the Chairman of China Energy and his delegation met with BSC Solar to conduct their final due diligence around a joint venture renewable energy project in the States Southwest.
Over the past two years BSC Solar has been developing a 50 megawatt solar plant with an associated 75 megawatt hour battery storage facility. This plant was designed following advice from Western Power on how best to support the grid in a major area of constraint. The long-term plan is to increase the facility to 300 megawatts to feed the Kemerton Industrial Estate and surrounding Bunbury region.
The visit began with a presentation by BSC Solar to China Energy of the Energy Market in Western Australia.
